Third friday @ Rotown bussiness as usual? Thought not! Tonight’s special guest is dj Dizz of the ‘Shit is Bangin’ collective. With one foot in the funk, another in electro, one hand deep down in the dancehall department and the other in the indie rock this guy usually handles the fader with his dick. Coming as eclectic as the ghettopapis themselves, the true ghettoblaster spirit is preserved since this night can shift in any direction but a bad one.
Amsterdam has a shitload of festivals to offer. Hemeltjelief is one of the few that serves the whole family. Relaxed programming and kidstuff in daytime. Rugged-and-ruff-all-out-partytime at night. Well known for it’s good vibes and diverse programming this young festival is a beautiful and warm kick-off of the festival season. Reasonable fees, very nice staff and venues makes this one a pleasant outsider amongst the average overpriced and overhyped.
Ghettoblastsoundsystem is looking forward to their 4 hour set at the ITW venue. From 23.30 ITW will be stuffed with a wide range of styles reflecting the diverse spirit of the festival. Met alleen de datum vast (elke derde vrijdag) blijkt deze avond steeds een ander gezicht te hebben.
